Conforming to Institute Yacht Clauses (IYC) (1/11/85), this comprehensive policy covers you against loss of or damage to your vessel caused by marine perils, fire, piracy, explosion, theft and/or liability for damage to any other vessel or property, loss of life or personal injury, and much more.
Benefits at a glance
Pays for repairs to your craft in the event of damage due to:
• collision and contact with fixed installation, dock or harbour equipment
• grounding, fire and explosion
• piracy, theft, jettison, malicious acts and perils of the seas
• negligence of any persons, including skippers
• costs incurred to salvage your vessel due to operation of an insured event
Pays in the event you are liable to third parties as a result of operating your craft:
• loss of or damage to another vessel as a result of collision
• damage to installation as a result of contact by your craft
• loss of life or injury to third party
• costs of wreck removal
• legal costs with written consent of the underwriters
Ease of application
• personal accident cover
• personal effects and property on board the vessel
• non emergency breakdown towage within Singapore waters
• oil pollution cover
• Protection and Indemnity Cover in place of third party liability cover
