a comprehensive vessel insurance policy that takes care
of your craft and offers you total peace of mind. Conforming
to Institute Yacht Clauses (IYC) (1/11/85), this comprehensive
policy covers you against loss of or damage to your vessel
caused by marine perils, fire, piracy, explosion, theft and/or
liability for damage to any other vessel or property, loss of
life or personal injury, and much more.
Pays for repairs to your craft in the event of damage
due to:
- collision and contact with fixed installation, dock or
harbour equipment
- grounding, fire and explosion
- piracy, theft, jettison, malicious acts and perils of the seas
- negligence of any persons, including skippers
- costs incurred to salvage your vessel due to operation of an insured event.
Pays in the event you are liable to third parties as a
result of operating your craft:
- loss of or damage to another vessel as a result of collision
- damage to installation as a result of contact by your craft
- loss of life or injury to third party
- costs of wreck removal
- legal costs with written consent of the underwriters
