The HSBC Insurance Customer Referral Programme ("Programme") is open to existing customers ("Referrers") of HSBC Insurance (Singapore) Pte. Limited ("HSBC Insurance") who refer new customers ("Referees") to HSBC Insurance from 1 July to 31 December 2008. |

The completed referral forms must be mailed back to HSBC Insurance by 31 December 2008. |

|
| 3. |
The Referrer will be entitled to S$30 worth of Takashimaya shopping vouchers for each successful referral. |
| |
|
| 4. |
A referral is successful when the Referee signs up for any of the insurance or investment plans stated below. Multiple plans purchased by Referees do not constitute multiple successful referrals. Policies must be effected by 31 January 2009.
Regular premium plans:
HSBC's GoalSaver, HSBC's LifeProtector, Guaranteed Assurance, HSBC's LifeEnrich, HSBC's ChildEnrich, ValueTerm, 5-year Convertible and Renewal plans, Life Manager Plus, Savings Manager,Takaful Warisan and Takaful Pengurus Simpanan.
Single premium plans:
Asset Manager II, Takaful Asset Manager II and HSBC's Growth Cultivator. |

| 5. |
There is no limit to the number of referrals the Referrer can make during the promotional period. |
| |
|
| 6. |
If two different Referrers refer the same Referee during the promotional period and the referral is successful, only the Referrer whose referral form received earlier will be entitled to the Takashimaya shopping vouchers. |

| 7. |
To qualify for the top referral prize of S$500 worth of Takashimaya shopping vouchers in each qualifying period (Period 1: 1 July to 30 September 2008 and Period 2: 1 October to 31 December 2008), the Referrer must submit the highest number of successful referrals. In the event of a tie, the winner will be selected by a lucky draw conducted by HSBC Insurance. All decisions made by HSBC Insurance are final and binding. No appeals will be entertained. |

HSBC Insurance reserves the right to withdraw any vouchers issued to the Referrer should the Referees cancel the policy during the 14-days Free Look period |

| 9. |
The Takashimaya shopping vouchers will be mailed to the successful Referrers within a month (after the 14-days Free Look period) from the effective date of the policy. |

|
| 10. |
Every Referee who meets HSBC Insurance's financial planners for a non-obligatory financial review will receive a Swensen's Baked Rice set meal worth up to S$17. |

| 11. |
The Takashimaya shopping vouchers and Swensen's Baked Rice set meal vouchers issued are not redeemable for cash and use of the vouchers will be subject to the terms and conditions of Takashimaya Singapore Ltd and ABR Holdings Limited. HSBC Insurance is not a supplier of the products or services offered under the vouchers and will not accept any liability in relation thereto. |

| 12. |
No replacement will be made for any voucher that is lost, torn, defaced or damaged. |
| |

| 13. |
HSBC Insurance reserves the right to replace the vouchers with another item of similar value without prior notice. |

| 14. |
HSBC Insurance reserves the right to vary the terms or withdraw the Programme at any time without notice. |
| |
|
| 15. |
In case of any dispute with the customer, the decision of HSBC Insurance shall be final. |
